George Turner (SMC 2010) a member of the Scottish Rugby party touring the Americas at the moment not only came on as a 30th minute substitute at hooker for Scotland in Saturday’s (local time) international against Canada but scored three second half tries in an outstanding performance. Scotland went on to win 48-10. Reportedly George, now with Glasgow Warriers, becomes just the third Scottish forward to score a hat-trick of tries for Scotland. Having earned his first caps in last season’s Autumn internationals George then suffered an injury which kept him out of contention for the Six Nations. Congratulations !
